Innovative Sleep Technologies is built on a legacy of unparalleled innovation and know-how in bedding products that improves lives. Company founders John Schulte and Sven Knabe carry the torch of shared vision to revolutionize sleep and mission to enhance the wellness of people all over the world.
In the bedding segment, there are few more knowledgeable in product development and sourcing than IST President John Schulte, who spent 27 years at Glideaway, at one time a leading supplier of adjustable bases. Managing partner Sven Knabe is one of the leading experts in German engineering and international sales of motion furniture and bedding technology.
The company is co-owned by Meise Moebel, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of adjustable bases and platform beds out of Europe and Asia, and also a trusted supplier to the Europeanbedding retailers for 30 years. It was a decades-long partner with Glideaway for the design and production of market-leading adjustable bases.

The foundations of Innovative Sleep Technology rest on three global brands — OKIN, Limoss and Tecfor Care.
Each brand’s story dates back decades and punctuated with market dominance based on design patents, engineering excellence and proven quality. Each with the fingerprint of respected entrepreneur Klaus Bellingroth, known by many in the industry as the founder and/or leader of those enduring brands. Tecfor care has become internationally recognized as a leading manufacturer of healthcare beds and nursing home furniture throughout Europe.
Innovative Sleep Technologies has plans to introduce the U.S. brand of Tecfor Care’s adjustable beds in 2024

Meise Moebel founded in 1992, develops and manufactures high-end bedding products, each with its own character and individual stylish elements. These basic principles of design have been incorporated with passion at Meise Moebel every day since its inception, making the company a true bedding specialist.
Klaus, who currently owns Tecfor Care, took over Meise Moebel in early 2021. It was his vision to have his protégé, Sven Knabe, steer the company going forward. As newly implemented leader of Meise Moebel, Sven keeps the company focused and committed to providing high quality beds in a timeless, modern design that are affordable for everyone.

Innovative Sleep Technologies is the best of all worlds in the bed industry. After decades of experience, an elite team of seasoned bed engineers and design professionals have teamed up to do it right. Co-Owner, John Schulte, has nearly 30 years in the industry as a top product design specialist. And Co-Owners, Sven Knabe and Klaus Bellingroth have over 40 years of family experience as engineers, creators and founder of OKIN motors. This combined 70 years of knowledge has created the most technologically advanced and highest quality bedding manufacturing company in the world.
